Tyler — Redondo Beach – Los Angeles — CA

Friday, February 10th, 2012

I went up to Redondo Beach last weekend to do a photo shoot.

Meet Tyler! He has a lot of hair!

Naked photos!

Striking a pose

Chubby feet

Tired.

After some shots at home, we walked over to the beach.

If Tyler’s parents look familiar to you it’s because I captured their proposal a few years ago!

I had my first Plum District Photo shoot last week! It was at Balboa Park, and I think the pictures came out great!

Sophia had the prettiest blue eyes! I love kids with blue eyes!

I hope the remaining Plum District deals that were purhcased come out and run just as smoothly as this shoot did!

Kim Family Photo 2011 — San Diego, CA

Friday, December 30th, 2011

Even though I take family photos for tons of families, mine doesn’t have one (not unless you count the one we took at Costco when I was in middle school)

So our family did a quick family photo.  Yay for self timers!

Hopefully, we’ll do more family photos, and I’ll remember to bring my tripod and wireless remote so we’re not putting my camera on boxes and putting it on self timer ;p

Kapur Family Portraits– San Diego, CA

Friday, November 18th, 2011

I had the great pleasure of taking family photos for the Kapur family.

This was the first time I did a family photo shoot with 4 kids. And all the kids were boys!

So I’ve actually been watching Malcom in the Middle, and let me just say, these boys are the total opposite of the show! They are the most well behaved kids, ever!

I usually bribe kids with small candies (skittles, smarties) after a set of photos. The older boys saved their candy, and put it in their pocket for later! I’m hoping in the future when I have kids, they will be at least half as well behaved!

Anyways, here are some family photos.

The Boys.

There were so many photos to chose from, but the ones above were my favorite ;p

Here’s some solo shots of Isabella (non disney princess)

I believe these last two photos, she was on a quest to find some spiders. Super cute, doesn’t she look like a little flapper girl?

The next post will be solo photos of Paulina, then the one after will be both Isabella and Paulina together… The one of them together is basically them just throwing leaves at each other ;p

Disney Princesses with Isabella and Paulina — San Diego, CA

Sunday, October 16th, 2011

When I was little I never had costumes or dress up clothes. I was always jealous of my friends who had trunks of clothes to play dress up in (most likely their moms old dresses and what not, but still!). Even for halloween, I was always whatever my sister was a few years prior. So I never had a say in what I was going to be for halloween. It wasn’t until I was older when I was able to make my own costumes (i.e. devil and witch) that I got to choose what I wanted to be.

These two girls are pretty lucky! They had some costumes!

So this photo shoot had a theme — Disney Princesses!

Isabella and Paulina dressed up as various Disney Princesses. Lucky girls.

They also took a few photos in ‘normal’ clothes. Which I will be putting in my next post, so stay tuned!

Sunday, October 9th, 2011

So I’ve been working on my new project.

Hopefully I’ll have the new website up in 2 weeks.

I’ll still be blogging here, because my other website won’t have a blog :)

Here are a few photos from a shoot that I did while working on my new project!

I’m getting ready for holiday photos :) Experimenting and what not.. (Lesson from this shoot was learned, do not use a white background when working with lights)

Here’s baby Natalie.

Did you notice a difference in watermark. It’s an In Focus San Diego watermark right now. Still using my mark with it :)

And don’t forget to like In Focus San Diego on facebook!

The Ladies of F6ix — September 2011 — San Diego, CA

Saturday, September 24th, 2011

I had the wonderful opportunity to take some photos of the Cocktail Servers and Bartenders of F6ix.

It was a long day of getting hair and make up done, and then of course, the photo shoot.

Here are my favorite photos from the day!

I’m currently working on a project I had with the girls from this shoot. Photoshop is the death of me. Hopefully I’ll have it done soon!

Welcome into the world Jacob — New York

Friday, June 3rd, 2011

So I love when I go on a trip and someone I know has a baby! Because what does that mean?? Babies first photo shoot!

Welcome into the world Jacob!

I took these photos a week after he was born.

And during the first half of the session, he was not having it.

After he got fed, he was a little bit more accepting of getting his photo taken. But he still refused to open his eyes for me.

I love it when babies wrinkle! ;p

Hello little tiny feet!

And you know the next time I go to New York, I’m going to be taking more photos of this cute little one :)
