RMD Winter Games Big Bear Trip 2012 — Big Bear, Ca

Monday, January 30th, 2012

RMD Group had their holiday party up in Big Bear last week. I’m not sure if you remember, but there was also the RMD Cup this past summer. RMD Group is made up of Fluxx, Side Bar, F6ix, Ciros, and now Brobertos and Platinum Tan.

RMD Group invaded the Northwood Resort in Big Bear and we had some friendly competitions and some interesting shenanigans happening.

Here’s some photos before the games.

I learned Icing.

You put a Smirnoff Ice somewhere, and the first person to see it has to get on their knee and chug it.

Hanging out in the lobby before the games begin.

The refreshments

A few of us F6ix’ers

I wonder who thought this would be a good idea

Now time for the games!

Blowing some bubbles

This specific game with the bubbles had a guest judge, Shaun Phillips from the San Diego Chargers.

Tallying the scores

And here is the winning team who won a cash prize!

And the beuatiful snow on the way home

The rest of the photos will be posted on the RMD Group facebook page :)

2012 365 Project – 29

Sunday, January 29th, 2012

I finally finished editing the photos from the RMD trip to Big Bear.

And this photo, is one of my favorite photos, so it gets to be part of the 365 project!

I currently have the RMD group logo on it (because I just sent it over to them) but once I actually blog about this event, it will have my watermark on it.

I hope you’re excited to see the crazies in my next blog post!

Happy 60th Birthday — Brea, CA

Thursday, January 26th, 2012

It was my uncle’s 60th birthday celebration a few nights ago.

My grandma and uncle

Family photo

All the families took photos with my uncle and my grandma. (I decided not to post them, but if you want them, I’ll send them your way!)

Birthday Rice Cake!

It was kind of funny watching my uncle try to cut the rice cake with that big knife! Eventually one of his sisters (my aunt) decided to take over.

Christmas 2011 with the Kim’s and the extended family — San Diego, CA

Thursday, December 29th, 2011

Christmas this year was at my parent’s house- with all the aunts, uncles, cousins, kids.

My dad cooking korean barbeque on the grill.

Don’t you love his apron?

David with Wiggles.

It’s actually pretty funny, Wiggles tried to bite his foot when he first came into the house. Then for the rest of the afternoon and night he would just chill next to him and hardly left his side.

Addy opening some presents!

Hugs for the people who gave the present.

I will let you hug me.

But you, you get a high five.

Alyssa’s turn.

“It’s a little big, but I’ll grow into it” — I love the things that she says!

The present was from ‘everyone’ so she had to give everyone a hug.

Or more like, she let everyone hug her.

But she knew the present was really from Esther, and not from everyone. So Esther got the real hug.

“Merry Christmas Ha-mu-nee”

My aunt gave the married girls some towels she crocheted for the oven. I was kind of jealous.

Grandma got the single girls sweaters

Grandma got the boys socks

Addy had some fun with snuffles.

She’s trying to share her water with him. She also tried to poke him in the eye, actually, she did poke him in the eye. But I missed that one.

And I’ll leave you with one last picture.

Alyssa and Wiggles just chilling on the stairs.

We also played a few intense games of Harry Potter Uno ;p

I’m going to make everyone play it with me. haha

Ugly Christmas Sweater Party 2011 — San Diego, CA

Wednesday, December 21st, 2011

My roommates decided to throw a holiday party and the theme- Ugly Christmas Sweaters.

I was really sad I couldn’t fly out to New York this past month and help host my sister’s Annual Holiday Cookie Decorating Party.

Anyways, I got to go to the Ugly Christmas sweater party for a little bit before I had to head off to work. I tried to look for ugly christmas sweaters by going to The Goodwill, The Salvation Army, and Thrift Stores. I couldn’t find one. As I was looking through the stores, I realized that they have really good deals on books! I found at least 1 book at each store that I wouldnt have minded reading for under a dollar!

Ok anyways, here are some of the ugly sweaters (and their owners)

If you can’t tell.. These are the white elephant gifts.

And of course, boys playing Wii.

I can’t wait until Christmas! It’s only a few days away. This year we’re having it at my parent’s place instead of my aunts. It’s always nice to be around family :)

Happy Thanksgiving

Monday, November 28th, 2011

Happy Thanksgiving!

Ok, I’m a few days late, but I totally food coma’d.

I went to my parents house and me and my dad picked some figs before heading off to my cousins house.

Our family does thanksgiving lunch and then stays until dinner to eat again. I got home around 7pm, and knocked right out. I could blame it on the turkey, but I only had 1 piece of turkey.

This post will basically be about food. I didn’t take a picture of all the food, because for some reason, every time I thought I was done taking photos of each dish, more seemed to come out from out of nowhere.

The dish I always get excited about at thanksgiving is the stuffing.

I think it’s because we only have it on Thanksgiving. There’s no stuffing at Christmas.

I think the best dish this year was the pork! It was soo good and juicy.

Sorry Turkey, but you lost!

Everyone getting their food. Don’t worry, I was not the last one to get food, I was actually the first one. No one likes being the first one, so I took it upon myself to just start :p

My plate. I know, it’s the worst one to show because there’s not a lot of food on it. But I was stuffed (maybe because I was soo hungry I filled up on crackers, cheese and dip right before.

And the food!

I love thanksgiving! I can’t wait til Christmas!

Halloween Decorating at F6ix 2011 — San Diego, CA

Saturday, October 29th, 2011

So there was some massive halloween deocrating going on over this past week at F6ix.

Low lights, no flash = grainy photos .. but I think it gives it some character :)

Carving some pumpkins. This is how we roll, big knives!

It was also a pumpkin carving party.

Only 3 pumpkins got made.

Totally, NOT safe..

By the way, that is not my real birth year.. I just made myself 21.. ;p

We just so happened to be standing under a bright light.

Look at these guys on the computer while everyone else was working ;p

After a few days of hard work..

Come get your shots!

I might bring my camera into F6ix tonight and take some more photos since the club is now completely decorated. And I my fog machine is going to be used tonight  :p

First Annual RMD Cup (Fluxx, F6ix, Side bar, Ciros) — San Diego, CA

Tuesday, August 30th, 2011

RMD had their first annual RMD Cup! What is the RMD Cup? It’s all of RMD’s venues — Fluxx, F6ix, Side Bar, and Ciros (Gaslamp and PB) all competing against each other.

Each Venue came up with a theme, and dressed to it.

And what were they competing at? There was tug-o-war, water balloons toss, planks, paper plates, volley ball, and a giant inflatable obstacle course!

Being an F6ix employee, I have more pictures of F6ix than the other venues. Sorry Fluxx, Side Bar and Ciros. I have to represent!

F6ix’s theme was Nerdwatch (Baywatch with a twist of nerd)

What’s a corporate event without the alcohol?

Photo with a real lifeguard and truck.

Side Bar came as border patrol and illegal immigrants. It was pretty creative.

Ciros

I just like this picture. He totally wasn’t posing. They were in deep conversation! :p

Time for the games!

Tug-o-war!

I love how Mikey G is encouraging the guys!

Planks.

Strategizing for water balloon toss.

Ok, so the balloons popping make more of an interesting photo then actually catching them without them popping.

Volley Ball

Paper Plates

Obstacle course

Not part of the competition, but there was some flip cup happening.

The winners, Side Bar.

The prizes for the raffle.

There was a tv, mountain bike, snow boards, poker table with chips, grills, and lots of other goodies! I won the mountain bike! That was what I really wanted and was hoping to win! :D

That’s it for the pictures on my blog! I will have my facebook page with the rest of the photos so people can tag themselves!

Agnes’ Bat Mitzvah – BCBG/Herve Leger Max Azria’s Daughter

Friday, July 29th, 2011

So over a year ago, while I was living in Los Angeles, a friend of mine asked me if I wanted to shoot a Bat Mitzvah. I said sure! because I’ve never done one. He gave me the address, and I ended up at some mansion in Bel Air. I get there and my friend’s not there yet. So I texted him and asked him where exactly I was, and who’s bat mitzvah it was. I just so happened to be at the home of Max Azria (the guy behind the clothing line Herve Leger, and BCBG, just to name a few). And it was his daughters bat mitzvah.

So I never signed my 2nd shooter contract, even though I asked for it **cough, George cough**

So I don’t want to get in trouble for posting these photos. So 1. If someone from the Azria group has a problem with these photos being up, please let me know and I will take them down immediately. 2. I will not be posting photos of people’s faces. As this event was a private event, I will keep its guests private.

You can also find more at Teen Vogue as there was a photographer from there covering the event as well and I saw an article a while back (you know, when the bat mitzvah actually happened).

The party had a candy theme and of course took place at their home. The set up was nicely done with a white tent on their tennis court.

Agnes’ cake

And some of the decor.

I wish I could post photos of people, because everyone was having so much fun. But I’ll leave the guests and everything up to your imagination. :)
