So F6ix’s theme for Halloween was Thriller!
So what did that mean? Michael Jackson and Zombies and lots of blood!

My wonderful coworkers

I can’t wait to see what F6ix brings next

So there was some massive halloween deocrating going on over this past week at F6ix.
Low lights, no flash = grainy photos .. but I think it gives it some character
Carving some pumpkins. This is how we roll, big knives!
It was also a pumpkin carving party.
Only 3 pumpkins got made.
Totally, NOT safe..

By the way, that is not my real birth year.. I just made myself 21.. ;p
We just so happened to be standing under a bright light.
Look at these guys on the computer while everyone else was working ;p
After a few days of hard work..
I might bring my camera into F6ix tonight and take some more photos since the club is now completely decorated. And I my fog machine is going to be used tonight :p

It was the first time I went to Mt. Soledad. (I know, I’m a born and raised San Diegan, and I haven’t been anywhere!)
I needed some night shots for my new project, so I decided to head up to Mt. Soledad.
So these are night shots!
The cross
The view
I took these around 7 pm, it’s been getting dark earlier in the day, so I feel a little bit safer being out at night.
I need to take more night shots around the city

So can you believe I’ve never carved a pumpkin before? Ok, well I suppose since I haven’t done a lot of things before, it’s easy to believe.
Me and my housemates decided to carve some pumpkins..
What’s pumpkin carving without some pumpkin face cups! (So I decided, for every holiday, I’m going to buy theme plastic cups! They were only 98 cents for 4 cups! And it made our pumpkin carving a little bit more festive)
Hard at work
So Sarah started carving one (to the left) and then gave up as she realized it was not going to work out, so she started making another carving off to the side (to the right).
However, she failed again, because her whole Hello Kitty face came out
What it’s supposed to look like
My Hello Kitty. I must say, it’s pretty good for a first timer! ;p
And, our finished masterpieces..
Hello Kitty face, Transformer, Hello Kitty
I’m pretty proud of mine ;p
Maybe I will carve one more pumpkin before halloween ;p

Here are Isabella and Paulina together!
These are of them just playing around and being silly.
The best photos for kids, are often the candid ones.
I told them to throw some leaves in the air and to throw up.. Mostly it was them just throwing leaves at each other..
Paulina trying to throw some leaves.. Instead she got some twigs and sticks.. which got caught on her dress. cute.
She figured it out!
Maybe next time I’ll have them roll around in mud or something ;p

Here are some solo shots of Paulina (non disney princess)

The next post will have both Paulina and Isabella together

Here’s some solo shots of Isabella (non disney princess)
I believe these last two photos, she was on a quest to find some spiders. Super cute, doesn’t she look like a little flapper girl?
The next post will be solo photos of Paulina, then the one after will be both Isabella and Paulina together… The one of them together is basically them just throwing leaves at each other ;p

When I was little I never had costumes or dress up clothes. I was always jealous of my friends who had trunks of clothes to play dress up in (most likely their moms old dresses and what not, but still!). Even for halloween, I was always whatever my sister was a few years prior. So I never had a say in what I was going to be for halloween. It wasn’t until I was older when I was able to make my own costumes (i.e. devil and witch) that I got to choose what I wanted to be.
These two girls are pretty lucky! They had some costumes!
So this photo shoot had a theme — Disney Princesses!
Isabella and Paulina dressed up as various Disney Princesses. Lucky girls.

They also took a few photos in ‘normal’ clothes. Which I will be putting in my next post, so stay tuned!

So I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of Pinterest, but it is absolutely my new obsession.
So you know when you see something online that you want to bookmark, well instead of actually bookmarking it, you can pin it!
It saves the picture onto one of your boards, and then if you click on the picture, it will take you back to the original post. So no more lame bookmarking.
You can create as many boards as you want, and pin as much stuff as you want to your boards..
Here are all my boards, Photos, I Want, Home/Decor, Before/After, Party Ideas, Wedding Inspiration, Places, Food, DIY, Kid Stuff, Organization, Printables.
I took a snap shot.
Photos.
These photos are things that inspire me, or that I want to somewhat replicate.
I want
Most of the I want stuff are large bathrooms with awesome tubs, or something home related.
Home Decor
How I want to decorate my future home(s).
Wedding Inspiration
I know, I’m not getting married anytime soon (I’m totally 100% single
) but it’s never too early to start an inspiration board! Just some ideas on photos, save the dates, trash the dress, decorations, party favors.
Places
Places around the world that just look beautiful and that I would love to travel to and take photos at.
Kid Stuff
Again, I’m nowhere near having a kid, but I like kids, and there are just some cute ideas and photo ideas.
I have a few more boards, but the snap shots weren’t as pretty
You can follow me on Pinterest (following the stuff I pin). Or if you want an invite to pinterest let me know!
I follow a few blogs online that I have bookmarked, so occassionaly I will pin things from those blogs, but usually how I pin things is I just go to the Pinterest home page, and click everything, so all the most recent pins show up and I just scroll through and look at them and start pinning.
Seriously, whoever thought of this is a genius. I love it. (You can also link it with your twitter so that things you pin you tweet as well, but I don’t really twitter).
You would think that the way I’m talking about this I’m on their marketing and promotions team, but I’m not. I just love this site!!

So I’ve been working on my new project.
Hopefully I’ll have the new website up in 2 weeks.
I’ll still be blogging here, because my other website won’t have a blog
Here are a few photos from a shoot that I did while working on my new project!
I’m getting ready for holiday photos
Experimenting and what not.. (Lesson from this shoot was learned, do not use a white background when working with lights)
Here’s baby Natalie.

Did you notice a difference in watermark. It’s an In Focus San Diego watermark right now. Still using my mark with it
And don’t forget to like In Focus San Diego on facebook!
